Married to David L. Brown, M.D., and have three adult children and eight grandchildren. Have resided in West Hartford for the past 45 years.
Why I love BBA:
I have a longstanding relationship with Ben Bronz Academy that goes back to 1985 when I first met Drs. Ian and Aileen Stan Spence. I was then invited to serve on the Professional Advisory Board shortly after the Academy opened. Thirty years later, I was asked to join the Board of Directors when the Academy applied for status as a nonprofit organization and served as Vice Chair for two years, Board Chair for four years, and currently as the Chair of the Governance Committee. I have served on many boards throughout my career, but have always maintained my connection to BBA, as I strongly believe in our mission that every child deserves the chance to succeed educationally, and Ben Bronz Academy makes that possible.
