Ben Bronz Occupational Therapist Derik Bernhardt recently presented at the ConnOTA (Connecticut Occupational Therapy Association) Conference held at the University of Hartford.

Speaking to a diverse audience of students, therapists, and professors, Derik delivered a presentation titled ‘Breaking Through; Paradigm Shift Through the Use of Neuro-Visual Postural Therapy and Yoked Prism Lenses.’

(NVPT) treatment aims to strengthen posture and balance by improving neurological connections between sensory and motor inputs through vision.

Derik is certified in Neuro-Visual Postural Therapy and reports he has had success with BBA students who have completed the program.

It’s inspiring to share our insights beyond the school and demonstrate to our students that learning is truly a lifelong journey.
